hello everyone!!! it’s been a minute since i’ve written anything on here, but i have a really big and exciting update about the race!!

as you know, a lot of things have been changing lately, and life looks a lot different now than i think anyone could have imagined back in january. with the world race being an international mission trip, plans have been changed a little. 

i’m SUPER excited to say that, YES, the world race is STILL ON!!! it will just look different than what i originally thought i signed up for.

because of coronavirus, we will not be able to launch overseas in september. instead, we will be staying for a semester on the adventures in missions base in gainesville, ga. then, (as of right now) the plan is to launch to our first country in the beginning of january!! during our time on the base, we will be learning what it looks like to live life on a mission here at home, being discipled, and living as a community with our squad, as well as learning a lot more about ourselves and growing a whole lot in our faith. we will be able to learn from the leadership team, and hope to be able to serve and do ministry locally as well!! the Lord will be moving here in the states!!!

while this news definitely came as a shock to me, i know it didn’t surprise God at all. this was always His plan, i’m just now finding out! when i signed up, i didn’t say yes to travelling, or even to the race, i said yes to God and to surrendering to His plan for this season of my life, so i am so excited to see what that will end up looking like!!!

all this being said, i am still fundraising the whole $15,600. (even though we won’t be overseas as long, the cost of living here is a lot higher, and there is still a lot of unknowns, so the fundraising goal is the same!) i would love if you would consider partnering with me in this, whether that be financially or through prayer!! if you’d like to donate, you can do so through venmo (reagan-grant) or donate right here on my blog!!!
